No other marks on this cream and sugar set with roses. I am stumped with this one and would very much appreciate any of you more knowledgeable folks know the manufacturer. Many thanks, Mary at Encore Books

Hi, Mary, I don’t have the answer for the identity question, but I can tell you how to find European Goodies’ message to you.
Go to your “My Bonanzle,” look in the left-hand column for “My Messages,” left-click on that.
Welcome to a Bonanzle Newbie!

ok, this is EuropeanGoodies [URL removed]
Now I see your picture – hm like I said, yes, the lion is a Bavarian Symbol but I can’t make much out of it.
Is it a cup? more pictures would be cool :)
Maybe you look under ‘Winterling’ or ‘Seltmann’ or ‘Arzberg’, ‘Tirschenreuth’ or ‘Heinrich’ – all with .de Country Code
to find this kind of signature.
.de … instead of .com – stands for Germany
I will search a little more.

Here’s her mark… she added it as a listing in her booth but it’s easier to see here…

I found a lion from Schumann in Artsbery, Bavaria, but not quite yours. It may be a place to start looking though.

Lion sitting on box with ‘MADE IN BAVARIA’, claimed to be Lehmann from Arzberg but I doubt it. (from site)

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
