I found this small crystal decanter with a small drinking glass that you put on top of it to cover the decanter. What is that called? I guess they use it to put on a night table for drinking at night. You might fill it with water and the drinking glass stops airborne things from falling in the decanter. Is there a special name for that?

I have also seen them called Bedside Carafe’s,Bedside Decanters, Bedside Water Carafe’s and Decanters, and Bedside Carafe & Tumbler Sets.

It is sometimes called a “tumble up”

I’m not sure what its called but I just saw one being used in a movie for drinking liquor. The movie was depicting the 1900’s during the war and a pilot was served a drink of brandy that way. Don’t know if thats much help but I wish you luck in your quest…
