Well, I can say is I'm forward not shy. I'm a Wife of age 46. I have many of children. Not all 2 legged either.LOL I help raise 19 & 18 year old. Talk too many step children. Train 3 dogs,3 cats, turtle, 2 hamsters and take care of a tank of fish. Doctor, treat and care for sprays that come our way. I also work on wood working items like antique furniture when get the chance. Classic and antique automobiles, some old computerized ones as well. Still learning those though, because some are tricky.
Do crafts and repairs, restore or just flat fix older items like dolls, appliances, wood, this 1958 house, tools, cloths, mechanical items. If I can't fix it right, hubby can and show me how the next time that item comes through the door.
As far as sells goes, I started in Walgreen's restaurant at age 16 and had paper route as well at age 14. Worked as at grocery stores as clerk and stocker but you had to talk to folks about products. When moved to Texas it was Arby's, Luby's, bars, then moved up to JCPenny's and did that for 1 year and received a Customer Service award I still hold dear. I was a floor float selling, folding, handling money you name it. Until the budget cuts that year.
Then went to evil bay. It was a good run while it lasted. The more policy rules with them taking more then you earned no matter how much you sold. I'd had enough and look for new venues. Also sold several products on craiglisting before coming here. Still do from time to time.
I also have sells on another site we can't mention here but, sold my first product on it. Wasn't much of a price but hey these day and age everything counts. It's what you add up all together to see how much you profit to me. Not by the piece one sells one at a time. We do garage sales in the spring, summer and fall as well here. No stranger to talk to strangers and making friends or just one time conversations.
I live in Texas but my heart is in ILL were I grew up as a child. I'm a northern woman of many trades. Auto, wood working, collecting, sewing, training animals + rescue ones when they come here to door or yard.
Love to learn new things hands on. Talk to folks about many different subjects I can wrap my head around. Worked many different jobs and places in my past. I was on ebay 472Cadillac with my Husband Since September 6, 1989. Feedback of 480. I'm also on craiglistings in Fort Worth and Dallas listings under Mrs. Wood you find me in lots of listing like house hold, collectibles, auto parts, boats, general and many others. I'm also on another site as 1943Moss32 for other items we don't mention on Bonanza. Hubby and I decided in new year to try new venues. Here I am with lots of items to put up for many of occasions.
I just love selling items and talking to interesting people. Either on the internet or face to face. I'm am forward and not shy by a long shot. I do have manners and can be polite.
Not sure what else to tell you. Glad to be part of a new venue. God Bless and Happy buying, selling and making new friends. Smile someone one needs one back to make there day. lilmouse
Okay folks thought I add to this about feedback. I'm always honest with my clients and customers. So if you want to check you can. If it makes or breaks sales here or on other site so be it. I believe in being honest. The reason I have 3 negative feed backs on this booth was when I imported mine from Ebay under 472Cadillac if you want to check. I had 1 seller whom did like the way his Edsel fender got shipped out of Ebay motors area. I sent it freight explained that when it gets on train I have no control.
The other 2 one was speakers that I described to a tee that were NOS which means New Old Stock new but not of the year they bought them. They came back with I sent them used ones. Even though I did several photographs up of the speakers all sides to see. They wanted a refund, I said good show me the photos of my speakers send them back and it they are truly mine I will refund. They never answered back just left feedback.
Same with another person on another item that was a radio. Yes hubby and I do old radios, we described them to a tee you have too they have flaws for being 20,30,40,50,100,ect ect in years. Well packed it to a tee. Saved the person on shipping costs and mailed out knobs separately because they were molded resin knobs that could get crushed in radio area of box. Well radio got there on time. The knobs took 5 days longer. They got mad. Sent a nasty email. I tracked the knobs got them to him. Next thing I know he wants refund. I said fine no problem same deal as the other person I did on this one. He didn't want to ship the radio back. Now when a radio is 125 years old you know darn well it worth more then this guy paid plus helped on shipping.
They want a refund they send item back. I told them I refund full cost shipping and all even though I paid for half the shipping. That how I got the negatives.
When you go to my other site you will see my latest battle with negative feedback. Told you about shipping be higher on the sellers forum. Well this person didn't want to pay shipping costs I gave them straight off the www.usps.com website. They bid didn't pay even though I explained why shipping was that high. So they decide after not paying to give me a negative. Now you know why I have those.
If you look at my track record from Sept 6, 1998 on I have a pretty good track record of positives on good item, communications and shipping. Yes I do my own packing and shipping, let alone 2 weight scales here calibrated to post office specs for shipping.
I also will send you ahead of time the website I do shipping costs on give you the weight of item, my zip code how I did it so you can check for yourself.
If we do business together that's awsome, if you decide not too because I'm to forward well that's okay too. Sincerely lilmouse. I'm on face book right here http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100003721087180
