Krause Haus Sift & Thrift is mine and my husband John's business. John and I were meant to be from the very beginning... coming out of long and unfulfilling marriages, I placed a Craigslist ad and voila! He answered! We had an instant connection... texting and talking on the phone constantly for a week before we met. And we had already fallen for each other by then but meeting in person sealed it! We were head over heels in love! We married a year and half later in a historic general store in Butteville, Oregon and honeymooned in beautiful San Diego. I had been an online retail seller since 2001 and having moderate success, but once John joined my business, it exploded. We are the perfect team... shopping at thrift stores, garage, rummage and estate sales to find the best deals, then John takes the photos and writes the descriptions while I list and ship the items. It’s a labor born out of our love for one another and this business. We give all thanks to God. Our store sells all things eclectic... from household items to sporting goods, clothing, toys, electronics and more! We maintain professionalism, integrity and honesty and have fun doing it!
