My name is Carol and I welcome you to my store.

I have had a passion for sewing all my life. I started sewing when I was 6 years old and my first sewing machine was a child's sewing machine which actually you could sew on. My uncle would tease me and ask me if I would make him some shirts. I learned to sew out of necessity as I was one of seven children and all the girls had to learn to sew.

I made all my own clothes that I wore to school and still do today. My passion has stayed with me throughout all my life as my husband and I lived in many different states due his employment. I worked in the corporate world also and went to my first all-night sew-in in Mobile, Al where I learned to do free motion embroidery etc and I was hooked. After I would come home from work I would sew articles of clothing for my patrons on a part time basis.

After I retired from the corporate world I sewed for 8-10 years for an upscale children's boutiq making infants and children's clothing and nursery bedding etc. The owner of the boutiq had to close due to health reasons. I now have a fully equipped sewing studio over my garage which includes a Janome 4 needle embroidery machine where I make and embellish the items you see in my booth.

I make bags & purses, christening gowns/rompers, children's clothing,bibs,home accessories ie tissue box covers,eyeglass cases etc.

The fabrics in my booth are left overs from the children's boutiq and are very good quality. Please take some time to browse through the store. You never know when you might come across that MUST HAVE item.
