~ New Shipment Arrives ~
My supplier just got a new shipment of beautiful figurines and statuette’s and give me a great price. Of course, I'm passing these savings on to you.
~ What Is It Made Of ~
Here's some common materials used in the products I offer.
Alabastrite
It is our product line name for polyresin items. It is a stone-based material which can be intricately molded producing great detail, and will allow paint to adhere. These items may be cleaned by dusting, however, they should not be washed with water as they are painted with water soluble paints. Items made from alabastrite which are specifically for outdoor use (such as fountains, etc) have a water resistant finish.
Dolomite
A magnesia-rich, sedimentary rock resembling limestone, dolomite is either gray, pink or white in color.
Porcelain
Fine ground white clay, molded and fired in an oven for eight hours at 1200 degrees. Finished with a glazed, underglazed, or "bisque" finish. Glazing produces a high gloss; underglaze produces a matte finish. Bisque is a matte finish without glaze. After finishing, the item is "cooked" for six hours at 800 degrees.
Stoneware
White clay with fine ground stone. Working with stoneware demands great expertise, and is in fact becoming a lost art. Stoneware is safe to use in microwave and conventional ovens.
~ Q & A on Shipping ~
Q) Your 7-10 days estimated delivery time seems like a long time?
A) Your order is usually shipped within 2-3 business days (weekends and Holidays excluded). The 7-10 day delivery time is generally the estimated delivery time from the placement of your order.
Q) Your $7.95 rate for shipping seems a little high?
A) Most of my items ship at (2) pounds or more, so I think you‘ll find $7.95 to be a reasonable rate. In addition, I have always been pleased with the service level of UPS. For lighter items, you have the advantage of my combine shipping, with up to (3) items shipped at no extra charge.
Q) I have a P.O. address. I didn’t think UPS delivered to a P.O address?
A) UPS and USPS have an arrangement were your packaged is transferred to USPS and delivered to your P.O. Box. This will add a day or two to your estimated delivery time, but there is no extra cost involved.
Q) I’m a senior and live in a high rise. Do I have to wait around all day for my delivery?
A) No, as long as the UPS driver has access to your building. I do suggest that you include a phone number with your order, in case the driver needs to call you for access to your building.
