Abysm Internal refers to the turmoil inside us, it can be overwhelmingly beautiful or devastatingly dark, and like a mythological beast it always threatens to consume us, it gets a bite out of us, but somehow, or ideally, we strive and move forward.
'Putridus Cor' has been my artist nickname since I started painting and drawing seriously at 15, it means rotten heart in Latin. Since then I've branched into more colorful styles, but grew so fond of the name that can't let it fade.
I always had a love for the darkness, dragons, mythology about hell and demons, and later on the beautiful Gothic culture, I'm also a fan of Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Fantasy, other mythologies, and cultures, the world and so on. I'm also a firm believer in Maximalist aesthetic! and as you can perhaps see. :p
As soon as I graduated as a designer/illustrator in Canada in 2014, I got rid of most of my things and got into a journey around the world that hasn't yet ended. I work freelance with my trusted macbook pro and super old wacom. I design, draw and illustrate, but sometimes what I like most is combining existing images into something new, like an image DJ of sorts.
Some of the artwork on my store are full illustrations made by me, others are a combination of my own work (always the center piece!) with purchased and altered graphic resources for the background, and occasionally I use also altered public domain and royalty free pictures (also backgrounds or textures). I make the artwork, and have third party partners print and sew the products, and ship them for me.
New stuff coming up every so often! despite having joined Bonanza on 2019, only now at the ending of 2020 I'm uploading al my products properly, following my success on Etsy.
