A little about
I am the proud parent of 3 Wonderful children, a daughter in law and 3 Awesome Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter!
As a young women my first job was working in an exclusive department store similar to Neiman Marcus. One mistake I made was applying for the store credit card, the other was venturing to the lingerie department! I would take armfuls of lingerie home thinking I would return some of them; that never happened. One of my first purchases was an Olga style #92570 in Black, little did I know I was buying such a Treasure! I felt like a Princess walking down the stairs with it trailing behind me. I must have made quite an impression, it wasn't until recently my daughter confessed she used to play dress up in it!
This is what started my Love for Beautiful Lingerie! I search for special pieces for You that I appreciate and would enjoy wearing; I would Never sell anything I myself would not wear. For you see I am a TRUE ROMANTIC at heart. My passion is Both Vintage and Glorious Old Hollywood lingerie.

A little known history on My Profile Picture:
"Kissing the War Goodbye" also known as "Unconditional Surrender' sculpture, is a famous photograph by Alfred Eisenstaedt that portrays an American sailor kissing a young woman in a white dress on V-J Day in Times Square on August 14, 1945. The photograph was originally published a week later in Life magazine among many photographs of celebrations around the country that were presented in a twelve-page section called Victory. Kissing was a favorite pose encouraged by media photographers of service personnel during the war, but Eisenstaedt was photographing a spontaneous event that occurred in Times Square as the announcement of the end of the war on Japan was made by President Truman at seven o'clock.
The photograph is known under various titles, such as V-J day in Times Square, The Kiss and V-Day.
Because Eisenstaedt was photographing rapidly changing events during the V-J celebrations he didn't have an opportunity to get the names and details. The photograph does not clearly show the faces of either person involved in this embrace and several people have laid claim to being the subjects. The photograph was shot just south of 45th Street looking north from a location where Broadway and Seventh Avenue converge.
