Vintage 1980s Brown Glazed Stoneware Butter Cheese Crock Locking Wire Bail Lid Measures 3.75" tall at the lid knob, 3" diameter at the base. Made of brown glazed stoneware pottery, the underside was stamped with a date of Jul 10 1989. These crocks typically held butter, cheese or yogurt. The removable lid has a rubber seal and notch to secure the wire bail. The condition is as shown in the photographs. The rubber seal is dried out and will not attach onto the lid. The stoneware is in very good condition without chips or cracks.
