I keep my hair short and wear it in a spiky-messy kind of look. I use hair "goo" to keep it styled the way I like it.
I've used the clear, bubbly kind of jell you get at the large discount stores with limited success, but they all have a way of eventually letting go of the style.
The last time I got my hair cut, the stylist used the Hard Up Holding Gel and I work up the next morning and my hair had most if its position in place! AND it does not bleed all over my pillowcase either!
Keep in mind, this stuff is STRONG! A little goes a long way. It rinses out in the shower with no worries. So don't be afraid that you will not be able to wash it out.
It's a little expensive, but it will outlast anything else you might purchase because you don't need to apply nearly the same amount to achieve the look you want.
From the sea of product out there, I chose this gel for my personal use.
The gel is not greasy and has a firm hold. When you remove the gel in the shower it comes off easy and does not leave a greasy feeling. The gel has a very pleasant sent and texture feels smooth and silky. A total package for a person that needs that extra hold.
