Be aware, though, that the brass nosepiece is a bit on the heavy side and may feel cumbersome to writers raised on gel pens and woodcase pencils.

These are kid's pencils, not professional quality by any means, but I got them for my canvas pencil roll and can carry twice the colors this way. They sharpen easily and the pigments are nice, especially for not being artist quality, but I always have them ready to go. Since they are hard to get, it be hooves me to buy another set.
