Columbia is a US-based outerwear and sportswear company founded by Paul Lamfrom in 1938. It began as the Columbia Hat Company, named for the Columbia River. In 1960, Columbia Hat Company began manufacturing a line of sportswear—their name was changed to the Columbia Sportswear Company.

Need I say more! These boots are warm and comfortable. Nice padding inside, although not much arch support.
