The use of black as a background color eats up your ink when printing it off and makes it very hard to work with once it is printed, no matter how large you make it. I am well versed with block patterns (Been crocheting for 40 years) but in 16 pages of instructions, a simple "chain XX to get started" would have been very helpful instead of having to try to read miniscule print numbers or count hundreds of squares. The price was great for the pattern and I thought I'd save time by just ordering an already-done pattern, but in hindsight I should have and could have just designed it myself.
