Lovely Antique Ladies Moire Handbag - Gdc - and 50 similar items

Offered here is this beautiful antique moire purse with chain handle. I am unsure of the exact age of the purse, however, it looks quite old and I would guess it to be from the early 20th century. It is made of a white sort of moire Fabric and has a sequined Floral Design on the front. Most of the sequins are present from what I can tell. There do seem to be some small areas where they have fallen off. The design is very lovely and I would say 80% intact. The lining of the purse is made of satin and is also in very good condition with no holes or tears. The moire fabric is beginning to shred at the side portion where it connects to the metal framing portion, which is made of brass and has a beautiful sort of draping Floral Design on it. The chain strap handle is also in very good condition. It is also made of brass. The purse is 6" from top to bottom, with the strap adding another 9" to the drop, and the little purse is 5" from side to side. It is a gorgeous antique ladies clutch curse and and would make a lovely addition to any antique purse collection.
