Butterfly Painting by Kelly Magee (#5984) and 50 similar items

This beautiful lifelike butterfly was painted by Kelly Magee of New Orleans. They are painted on constructed boxes made of the same panels used in her other works, and the wood stock that would otherwise become the frames. All certified sustainable. The backgrounds are gold or silver leaf which makes the image really "pop". They are sealed with a clear acrylic. The butterfly is approximately 4.75" square x 1.5" deep. The paintings extend around the sides of each box and are meant to be free-standing or can be hung on a wall. We only had three of these left when we closed our gift gallery in 2010 and these have been in storage ever since. Recently unpacked, we decided to offer them to you here.
