Holy Martyr George the Victorious (275-281 - 23 April 303 in a new style or 6 May 303 in old style) is one of the most celebrated saints, a martyr of Christ's faith. He is also revered by the Eastern, Western Christian churches as well as in Islam. During the reign of Emperor Diocletian he was a soldier in the Roman Empire. Immortalized in the myth of Saint George and the Lama, he is the patron of England, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Ethiopia, Canada, Catalonia, Lithuania, Portugal, Serbia, Montenegro and the cities: Beirut, Genoa, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Moscow and Freiburg . The icons of St. Georgi the Victorious is always depicted on a horse, and at his feet lay the dragon killed by him. This souvenir is a wonderful polyester cast.
