The Tale of Tom Kitten Beatrix Potter New York: Warne, No Date (ca 1970?s) Hardcover. 16mo. Unclipped price on this dust jacket. As nearly as new book but for a slight bit of shelf-wear along the bottom edge of boards, a little white area on the spine edge (see my photo please) and with a very slight bit of light foxing on top page edges. Illustrated endpapers and coloured illustrations throughout the book by Beatrix Potter. 59 pages. This book was bound with the reinforced binding. Apparently this book was never read. The dust jacket is fine but for a small closed tear at the top of the spine which has had an archival repair with rice paper on the verso. The jacket is with the $3.50 price on the front jacket flap and with the top corner clipped, as issued. It will be provided with a fresh Mylar jacket protector. A lovely little book. There is no date of printing, but most likely was published in the mid 1970?s. (The first edition of this book was published in1907, the copyright renewed in 1935.)
