Vintage Zebra Brooch Pin Sterling Silver Black Enamel Stripes Figural Animal Large Whimsical Striped Modernistic Zoo African Safari Classic Design Statement Piece Wearable Art Jewelry Textured Design This is a Sterling Silver Zebra brooch made with Jet Black Enamel stripes and silver stripes that are etched or engraved. The textured stripes add to the beauty of the piece. It is similar to the Silpada brooch but the Zebra is facing the opposite direction (right instead of left). It has beautiful workmanship and artistry. It is marked on the back with S925 for Sterling Silver. It measures approximately 2 inches long and 1 inches tall. This is most likely from the 1970s to 1980s. It is in great condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished it as many people prefer the older patina that comes with age. I will leave any cleaning up to you if you so desire. The enamel is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or damage. It has a straight pin with a rollover locking clasp. The pin has a very slight bend to it, but it doesn’t affect how it closes at all, it operates securely.
