Biddeford has a couple of electric blanket controllers. The digital one is the one to get. Spend a couple dollars more and you will be much happier in the long run. The problem with the non digital model is that the numbered dial has a plastic stop behind it that can break allowing the dial to spin in circles. I took mine apart and check the different parts with my electric meter, Hoping it was a loose wire or something I could fix. I noticed the broken tab stop on the inside. Long story short I just replaced it rather then cause an electrical problem from my tampering. The digital model doesn't have a dial to turn and no tab to break. Make sure your specs match and that the plug end that inserts into the blanket has 4 pins, some of the sunbeam cords have an extra indent in the middle between the 4 pins. Make sure this will fit your blanket.
