Vintage Jim Thompson Large Silk Scarf and 15 similar items

For sale is a nice large vintage Jim Thompson silk scarf with a few small flaws in it. The design is unique and attractive. Please note that the scarf did not seem to photograph color true. The background color is a pretty light golden tan. On some of the photos on my monitor, most noticeably the last three, the background color looks darker than it actually is. This is really a very nice scarf, despite the two small flaws in it. There are no labels on this scarf at all. There is the Jim Thompson name in the bottom corner of the scarf. The scarf appears to be made out of silk, which is the fabric that Jim Thompson often works with and seems to be known for. The silk has a lot of thicker threads through the weave of it, similiar to silk shantung. The scarf measures approximately 34 inches square. The hems are hand rolled, towards the back of the design. The design is applied on top of the silk; it appears to be printed on the silk. There is a small spot in the very center of the scarf where the design has either worn away, or wasn't applied correctly in the manufacturing process. There is also a vertical pull in the scarf, which starts a few inches over to the left of the Jim Thompson name and measures approximately 11 inches long.
