Series 2003 A Former US President Thomas Jefferson is featured on the face of the note. The reverse shows a modified reproduction of the painting, "The Declaration of Independence" by John Trumbull. The bill was discontinued in 1966 but was re-introduced 10 years later as part of the United States Bicentennial celebrations. Today, however, it is rarely seen in circulation and actual use. This crisp $2 Note is carefully selected and presented by the United States Monetary Exchange, a private exchange not affiliated with The US Gov't or any Gov't Agency. It comes in a beautiful hard black leather case with the United States Eagle design and caption: UNITED STATES - MONETARY EXCHANGE.
