Antique Victorian Etruscan Revival cameo locket from the 19th century. Beautifully intricate scroll work designs on the front and back. It features a tiger eye cameo. A truly beautiful antique Victorian Etruscan Revival photo locket. The gold-filled locket features a rich two tone rose gold and yellow gold finish and is exquisitely decorated in classic Etruscan Revival style, showcasing raised hand-fabricated bezel and scroll work, leaves and floral accents, and striking tiger's eye carved cameo portrait and 2 red garnet centerpiece. The reverse displays an elegant flower engraved design, adding to its charm and craftsmanship. Locket opens to reveal two photo compartments, complete with the original frames and glass inserts intact. Measurements: Locket: approximately 1 3/8 inches long by 7/8 inch wide, 35 millimeters by 22 millimeters. Overall condition is very good for its age, with beautiful antique character and wear consistent with Victorian-era pieces.
