Vintage beach coastal themed figurine and 50 similar items

This is a vintage beach or coastal themed figurine with seashells and miniature pelicans perched on wooden dock pilings. It measures about 3.5" tall and 1.75" across. I'm not sure exactly how old it is, but it came from my mother's house and has been in a box in my storage for at least 20 years. Knowing my mom I would guess it's from the 1970s, but I'm not certain. As you can see, a bit of the surface bark on the wood base has come off, I would assume just from age. I still think it's very cute, and its flaws just give it a little extra vintage charm. Asking $3.00 obo.
