Item description
In the 1800s and early 1900s, once-forbidden Icelandic magical symbols (galdrastafir) saw a decline in tradition but gained scholarly interest. Priest, folklore collector, and antiquarian Jonas Jonasson compiled historical Icelandic magic symbols before his death in 1918. His manuscript, *Galdrastafir*, presents this material in full, along with supplementary items, including an introduction by Alessia Bauer, photographs by Giorgia Sottotetti, and illustrations by collective Leodrune. This book is perfect for those interested in Icelandic folklore, runology, and the occult.
