Item description
In this listing we're featuring a 1960's vintage German Marzi and Remy ceramic tobacco humidor with a hardwood lid. On it's bottom, although very difficult to see, there is stamped in the Maroon glazing a M R insignia which are the Marzi and Remy company's insignia initials.
This ceramic humidor comes from the late 1960's but features a medieval German scene of "Suzanna and the Elders" as written from the apocryphal book of Daniel in the Old Testament.
The piece measures approximately 5" tall x 4.75" in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The underside of the hardwood lid has a deeply carved slot that holds a tube with tiny holes built in for filling with water to keep your tobacco moist.
