This is a softcover book, The Gravedigger's Daughter by Joyce Carol Oates. It is a First Harper Perennial Edition (trade paperback) published in 2008. The novel was based on the life of Oates's grandmother, whose father, a gravedigger settled in rural America, injured his wife, threatened his daughter, and then committed suicide. Book has been read once and is in excellent used condition. It shows some very mild wear to the cover but no other issues to mention. All pages are clean and intact and there's no writing in it.
