Item description
Up for sale is a vintage Apple PowerBook 520 (Model M4880) from the mid-1990s. This is a great project piece for a vintage Mac collector or a source for hard-to-find replacement parts.
Condition Details:
Screen: The LCD is failing. As shown in the photos, the display is very "washed out" with significant tunneling/fading around the edges. While icons are faintly visible, the screen is not usable in its current state.
Power: NO charger/AC adapter is included. It was tested with a universal shop power supply to confirm it boots.
Physical: The casing is in decent cosmetic shape for its age, though it shows typical scuffs and wear. The keyboard and trackpad are intact.
Internal: Boots to the desktop (System 7), but due to the screen condition and lack of charger, it is being sold STRICTLY AS-IS for parts or repair.
