VINTAGE LARGE HAND MADE GROS POINT WOOL TAPESTRY NEEDLEWORK HANDBAG w/ w/ HINGED BAKELITE TORTOISE SHELL FRAME - LARGE PATTERNED NEEDLEPOINT - HINGED BAKELITE FRAME WITH FOLD-OVER LOCKING CLOSURE - WIDE GROS-POINT OVER-THE-ARM HANDLE - HAND STITCHED SILK THREAD ON SATIN LINING - LARGE OPEN INTERIOR - HAND MADE THROUGHOUT - FAIR TO GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION MEASUREMENTS: Bag: 4 inches High x 7 inches Wide x 3/4 inch Deep Handle: 10 inches Long x 1/8 inch Wide Drop: 4 1/4 inches CONDITION: In Fair to Good Used Condition, with one side of the under-layer frame and corner missing. This bag still closes and locks securely in spite of this. In addition, there are markings on the frame itself, but I am not sure if these are decorative or surface scratchings.
