Charming vintage Hungarian folk-style doll from the 1960s?70s.
Measures about 12? tall and features a hand-painted glossy plastic head with bright facial detail, layered felt "hair," in a blue felt outfit with white trim and buttons. Her painted side-glancing eyes give her a mischievous, knowing charm ? a touch of personality rare in souvenir dolls of the era.
Excellent vintage condition ? colors remain bright with no cracks, or repairs. Felt clothing and hair are clean and intact with only minimal age softness from storage. Limbs move properly; tag is clear.
The body is softly stuffed cloth with lightweight flattened plastic limbs that move together, an original design typical of midcentury Hungarian handicraft cooperatives. Retains woven "HUNGARY" tag and displays beautifully with rich color and classic Eastern European folk character.
