1950s Siam Sterling Niello Enamel Parure, and 45 similar items

Own a slice of vanished Thai history with this Siam Sterling niello set, complete with rare artesian matched pair of original Bangkok Jewels numbered boxes, 206/1443 and 86/1404. Excellent condition set from the same limited edition run. Handcrafted in mid 20th century Bangkok with intricate black enamel inlays on solid sterling silver. Alternating scenes from the Manimekhala Ramasoon legend evoke epic Thai mythology, where lightning dances with thunder in eternal harmony. ?Condition: Excellent, no chips, all original, no repairs, vintage sterling patina, no damaged enamel. One of the connecting rings bewteen the panels in the bracelet is out of round. The round pendant depicts Manimekhala, the storm guardian with her crystal talisman. The square pendant the duo of Ramasoon and Mekhala in eternal dance echoing the apsara grace. The bracelet depicts two different alternating scenes from the Manimekhala Ramasoon legend. The pendants slide easily on and off the chain for easy change. Nothing needs to be taken apart or anything special done to change them. ?The Boxes: What elevates this set is the rarity of the original Bangkok Jewels numbered boxes. The pendant box has Bangkok Jewels under the lid on ribbon, the bottom with an additional original Bangkok Jewels sticker and handwritten craftsman number 206/1443. The panel bracelet box mirrors the pendant box. It has Bangkok Jewels under the lid on ribbon, the Bangkok Jewels sticker on the bottom and craftsman number 86/1404. Not only are these the original boxes but are a matched set. Neither has any water damage have their original red velvet inserts. The pendant box has a small white spot, see second to last pic. ?Care: Professional cleaning recommended at first with someone familiar with Niello, light buff with soft dry cloth after wearing.
