This vintage Eric Javits New York wide-brim hat, crafted from black straw and adorned with yellow flowers and tulle, is accompanied by a 16-inch Neiman Marcus hat box, both in impeccable condition. The style of this hat makes it usable as a 1940s hat- very similar in style and decorations. The dimensions of the hat are 16 inches from front to back and 15 inches across, accommodating up to a large head size. It is in like-new condition. While in nearly new condition, the hat box exhibits a few scarcely noticeable and very light marks; however, the interior remains immaculate. The hat box measures 16" x 7" tall. This hat and box possess provenance. The previous owner was a buyer for Bloomingdale's from the 1970s through the 2000s. She traveled extensively around the globe and was also a purse designer.
