Item description
Delve into the charm of yesteryear with the Pike?s Peak Penny Trade Stimulator, a vintage piece dating back to 1939. A genuine treasure from the United States, this gumball machine stands as a testament to the era's amusement arcades and penny savers. Its original design and craftsmanship are a nod to the delightful nostalgia of bygone days.
The machine, bearing the renowned Pikes Peak brand, is a collector's dream, promising a slice of history with its timeless appeal. It's not merely a machine but a conversation piece that embodies the rich heritage of American gaming and vending history. Whether for display or as a functional collector's item, it offers an authentic taste of the past.
Pike's Peak was produced by Groetchen Tool Mfg. Co. in 1939.
Measure 13" tall by14" wide by 13.5" deep
The object of the game is to get as many of the five balls as far up Pike?s Peak as possible. Balls are loaded one at a time once a penny is inserted. The knob on the front of the machine alternately raises and lowers the green and blue sections, moving the ball further up the hill. Unless of course you allow it to slip out one of the side chutes before reaching the top. The higher you can get the ball, the higher the score. Scoring is determined by adding up the values shown in the windows to the left and right of the instruction card. A gumball was also dispensed on each play of the machine from the small door on the lower left. The gold ball counts as double score
Only one is available
Of all the trade stimulators available, the Pikes Peak is without doubt the must addicting and fun to play. Definitely a game of skill and a lot of luck. Will provide unlimited hours of enjoyment.
