10 Dwarf Swiss Mountain Pine (Pinus mugo, pumilio) - Bonsai or Landscape
Native to mountain ranges
in Europe, Great as a bonsai or as a landscape plant.
This slow-growing spreading
pine can eventually reach 8 foot wide and 10 food wide, but can be pruned to
keep at 1 foot or less. Prefers full sun to partial shade and is
tolerant to wide variety of soil types including sandy and clay
soil. Hardy to USDA zones 2-7.
