Item description
Vintage rose pendant necklace from The Netherlands
Possibly a work by Alex Meijer from Schoonhoven (Netherlands)- hallmarks on the chain clasp are difficult to decipher.
The pendant measures about 2.5 inches top to bottom
Made using the repousse technique
Likely made in the 1940s in the Art Nouveau Revival style, but also could have been earlier
Both chain and pendant are hallmarked with the old Dutch sword without hallmark, for fineness 835, dating from before 1953. See photos for other hallmarks.
The unique chain measures about 22 inches in length
Gorgeous piece in very good condition. All cleaning is left to the buyer. The photos are useful for seeing condition and other details. Photos are of the actual items you will receive.
