Japanese Poppo/Mi-Ken Cuckoo Clock #1 and 14 similar items

We normally keep away from this cuckoo clocks because the many articulating parts in their movement for which are very hard to find parts, however after close inspection and very little work we added it to the shop. The Perpendicular positions on this type of movement are not only interesting but 1 of a kind compare to the rest cuckoo clock movement manufacturing. We only did general cleaning and oiling and it has all original parts. The Cuckoo Bird on this one has Moving Wings so every coo-coo sounds the bird Flaps it wing. Even the waxed/papered top bellows are intact and so all of the carvings. The Cuckoo bird has moving wings that moves up down at every cuckoo calls. The housing has the set-up for music mechanism but it DOES NOT HAVE MUSIC BOX OR OTHER PARTS Only Cuckoo Clock system. Measures appx. 17 inches tall by 12 inches across and about 7 inches deep.
