First edition, first printing.
A selection in the publisher's superior Red Badge Detective mystery series.
SIGNED by the author to a rectangular blue stiff-card, and laid in.
The fourth mystery featuring Journalist-detective, Peter Styles, is set in Connecticut and involves murder and treason.
A presentable collectible.
Tiny rubs to the upper and lower spine edges and corner tips, light foxing to the upper page edges, end-papers and the jacket's inner flaps, else about near fine in lime-green linen boards with black Red Badge Detective insignia to the front cover and with black insignia and titles to the spine, sewn binding; in a very good plus slightly rubbed and soiled dust jacket with a few shelf-edge and spine edge short tears; original printed $3.50 price still intact to the front inner flap.
The jacket will be placed in a clear, removable protective sleeve, after photographing for this entry.
