Signed by hand by cover and interior inker Dick Ayers, this trading card is JSA authenticated and certified through CGC with a card grade of 8. It is from the Marvel: The Silver Age trading card set released by SkyBox in 1998. Fresh from CGC, it will be shipped with the utmost care.
About the Artist:
Dick Ayers (1924?2014) was a prolific comic book artist best known for his long association with Marvel Comics during the Silver Age. He began his career in the 1940s and was a frequent collaborator with Jack Kirby, inking many early issues of Fantastic Four, The Avengers, and Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos. Ayers was also a key artist on Marvel?s western titles, most notably Ghost Rider, Rawhide Kid, and Kid Colt Outlaw. With a career spanning over five decades, his versatility and steady craftsmanship made him a cornerstone of Marvel?s early success.
