It is the 1987 First Edition published by WH Wolfe Associates. The story of the Atlanta Athletic Club from the late 1890s to the 1980s. Club was founded by an energetic group of young professionals. Soon John Heisman had put together a basketball team that could hold its own. At the same time the club was making a name in tennis, with championship players soon developing including father and son pair Bryan and Bitsy Grant. The Club's most famous member is perhaps Bobby Jones, who in 1930 won the Grand Slam of Golf. The book details the shaping of a champion and how Bobby Jones developed from an uncertain defensive player to a hard, aggressive competitor. Numerous B W photos throughout the book which is printed on quality paper
