Soon John Heisman had put together a basketball team that could hold its own. At the same time the club was making a name in tennis, with championship players soon developing including father and son pair Bryan and Bitsy Grant. The Club's most famous member is perhaps Bobby Jones, who in 1930 won the Grand Slam of Golf. The book details the shaping of a champion and how Bobby Jones developed from an uncertain defensive player to a hard, aggressive competitor.
