Item description
Royal Vienna (by Arnart)
REPRODUCTIONS of Royal Vienna
Cups and Saucers
Aqua Blue Saucers 5-7/8" diameter
Aqua Blue Cups 3-5/8" diameter x 2" tall
2 Sets (Total of 4 pieces)
Made in Japan
Made of Porcelain between 1957-2001
Royal Vienna in Austri stopped manufacturing in 1864, and Fragonard refers to the original artist of the portraits on the pieces. The beehive mark (actually the Royal Vienna inverted shield) was registered in Japan in 1957 and removed in 2001.
The original factory pattern from Austria was assumed by a new factory in Japan, simply because the pattern and artwork were beautiful. These are presented for sale now.
