USED PIONEER ELITE BDP-33FD BLU-RAY PLAYER WITH SOME BLU-RAY ISSUES. ALSO WORKS AS AN IMPRESSIVE AUDIOPHILE CD PLAYER/TRANSPORT. IT HAS GREAT AUDIOPHILE SOUND/PICTURE. INCLUDES ORIGINAL REMOTE/BOX/MANUAL/AC CORD
CANNOT BE UPDATED BECAUSE PIONEER NO LONGER HAS SUPPORT FOR IT. THE FIRST PHOTO SHOWS A BLU-RAY MOVIE PLAYING 1HR 22 MINUTES. THE SECOND PHOTO SHOWS THE BD-LIVE OPTION FOR THAT SAME MOVIE. DVDs AND CDs PLAY GREAT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. SOME BLU-RAY DISCS PLAY 100% BUT SOME HAVE ISSUES.
BLU-RAY DISCS ISSUE SCENARIOS:
1) YOU MAY NEED TO RELOAD A BLU-RAY DISC AS MANY AS 8 TIMES (DOES NOT APPLY TO DVD AND CD DISCS)
2) IT IS VERY SLOW TO LOAD AND MAY HAVE A BLANK SCREEN FOR SEVERAL SECONDS FOR BLU-RAY MOVIES ONLY
3) IT WILL NOT READ SOME BLU-RAY DISCS
4) DURING PLAY, FINGER PRINTS AND SMALL SPECS OF DUST ON THE BLU-RAY DISCS CAN CAUSE THE UNIT TO FREEZE OR NOT LOAD
