The backlighting works perfectly, as shown in the video. Only (2) of the lights seem to be dim or dull out of the many colorful images. The very heavy wooden cabinet that surrounds the unit is MOSTLY in good standing. There is some small cracking though. See all photos for accuracy. Also, the back part where you connect the speakers, has a bend on one of its connections. This unit is extremely powerful as I barely move the sound dial and get major sound with only my one testing speaker connected. This is a real well made beast of a receiver! Also, the outer clear face has some cracking towards the dials as shown. This is cosmetic only NOT affecting the sound quality or anything else.
