Item description
This certified vintage brooch is an exceptional piece of Chinese export craftsmanship, featuring intricate silver filigree work and vivid enamel butterflies that surround a large natural amethyst center stone. The gemstone, verified by the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), is a natural quartz variety (amethyst) with no indication of clarity enhancement.
The brooch offers triple functionality: it can be worn as a brooch, used as a pendant through the concealed loop, or styled as a traditional obi clip. A hallmark stamped "SILVER" is visible on the back, typical of early to mid-20th century Chinese export silverwork.
