THEALOSE OPHTHALMIC HYGIENE CARE TO MOISTURIZE DRY EYES Some people experience great discomfort because of their dry eyes. Thealose contains several ingredients: Trehalose is a disaccharide present in many plants and animals. It offers dry eyes protective, moisturizing and antioxidant properties. It helps prevent dehydration of the eye. Trehalose also helps prevent protein denaturation and lipid degradation, thanks to its stabilizing functions of cell membranes. Sodium hyaluronate is a molecule naturally present in the eye. This polysaccharide has water retention properties, in order to guarantee hydration and lubrication of the surface of the eye. Thanks to its bioadhesive action, sodium hyaluronate allows this eye solution to better adhere to the eye, for a long-lasting action. Thealose eye drops therefore provide protection, hydration and lubrication of the ocular surface, as well as better comfort, for moderately and severely dry eyes. This solution can be used directly on the eye, but also on contact lenses.
