Offered here is a lovely bowl from Fitz and Floyd Inc., made in Japan. This piece features a beautiful contrast between its textured rust-colored (or perhaps a deep terracotta) exterior and the delicate blue and white artwork on the interior. The inside of the bowl is decorated with a charming scene of birds perched on flowering branches, executed in a classic blue and white style. The rim of the bowl also features an intricate geometric blue and white pattern. The base of the bowl bears the Fitz and Floyd Inc. mark, along with "Japan" and the copyright year "MCMLXXVII" (1977), placing this piece firmly in the Mid-Century Modern era.
