PLANE ON THE COVER
The Thomas brothers began experimenting in 1908--in 1916 became Thomas Morse, who built the famous M.E. 3 fighter after WW-1--speed 164 Ihphl The S4C, 80-horse Le Rhone powered, single seater on the cover was quoted by Janes at 97 mph max, but the two-seater version at 105. Span of the fighter was 26 ft. 6 in.
