The A-M ring terminals are constructed with an electrolytic copper which has been heat treated or annealed to strengthen the terminal especially between the crimp and tongue. The wire barrel of this 4 gauge crimp lug has a length that is optimized for ideal crimping and the inspection hole at the end allows you to check for proper insertion of the wire. This 4 AWG ring terminal for use with a 3/8" stud is tin-plated to avoid oxidation making it ideal for most environments.
