Item description
TWICE IN TIME by Manly Wade Wellman THE FOREVER MACHINE by Mark Clifton Frank Riley Galaxy Publishing Corp., reprints, 1958 Condition: Reading Copies Two science fiction titles in the Galaxy Novel series of the '50s. The covers of this series (here by Mad Magazine illustrator Wally Wood) falsely suggested the books were sleaze. TIME has cover/spine wear, but the binding is okay. MACHINE (also published as THEY'D RATHER BE RIGHT) has serious spine wear and at page 122 there is a full break at the gutter so the book is held together by what's left of the spine (but the rest of the binding is intact).
