Cream cloth with front panel illustration of a punting football player player in black and red, football crossed bats and open book to the spine, cover lettering in black; white coated paper dust jacket with pictorial illustration replicating the books cover, except the back ground field is in green. A bit of wear to the crown of the spine, else a near fine, tight copy; in a very good, modestly worn dust jacket with light chipping to the spine ends and lower front flap corner. According to Mattson Davis (31000) this copy of the book is in the first format. The book is also listed in Cary Sternick's THE HENRY ALTEMUS COMPANY: A History and Pictorial Bibliography (Item #17). According to the pictorial section of this history the dust jacket might be in the second format with the football field in green; the book is still in the first format.
