First Danish edition: Printed in a limited run of 10,000 copies.
A Danish translation of the H.G. Wells book A Short History of the World originally printed in English in 1922.
The book is nicely bound in 3/4 polished calf leather with marbled boards; spine titles and decoration gilt.
Condition is very good+. There is light scuff wear and a small dark stain to the spine with minor edge wear to the shelf edges; text is tight, fresh and clean.
Quarto. 413 pages. Illustrated with maps, photographs, and copies of engravings.
A nice unusual item for the H.G. Wells collector.
