Gr?ville, follows the fortunes of Lena (Brigitte Horney), a German woman who, against her will, is recruited by the French to act as a spy during World War I. Finally, 'The Dictator' (1935), directed by Victor Saville, explores the loveless marriage of Princess Caroline Mathilde (Madeleine Carroll) of 18th century Denmark and her subsequent affair with the royal physician Dr Struensee (Clive Brook).
